Job Requirements
- Commitment to Touchmark’s values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion
- Ability to model and encourage positive behaviors among peers
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques including sautéing, grilling, pastas and fish preparation
- Excellent attendance history
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
- Capability to stand for extended periods
- Maintain a positive professional demeanor when interacting with residents, family, visitors, and team members
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume setting
- Proficient in sautéing, grilling, and preparing pastas and fish
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Positive and professional attitude
Job Duties
- Prepare meals following established recipes and plating standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Monitor ingredient quality and freshness
- Collaborate with team members to meet dining service goals
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies
- Support educational initiatives on healthy food options for residents
