Job Requirements

  • Commitment to Touchmark’s values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion
  • Ability to model and encourage positive behaviors among peers
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques including sautéing, grilling, pastas and fish preparation
  • Excellent attendance history
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
  • Capability to stand for extended periods
  • Maintain a positive professional demeanor when interacting with residents, family, visitors, and team members

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume setting
  • Proficient in sautéing, grilling, and preparing pastas and fish
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Positive and professional attitude

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals following established recipes and plating standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • Monitor ingredient quality and freshness
  • Collaborate with team members to meet dining service goals
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies
  • Support educational initiatives on healthy food options for residents
