Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current food safety certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Minimum 2 years of line cooking or food preparation experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Capacity to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger motions
  • Willingness to adhere to all company policies and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Current food safety certification such as ServSafe and SafeStaff (can obtain upon hire)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience performing in line cooking or preparation capacity
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and plating guidelines accurately
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical capability to meet job demands such as lifting and prolonged standing

Job Duties

  • Prepare all menu items according to recipe requirements and adhere to product sensitivity and plate presentation guidelines
  • Read tickets and prepare order
  • Maintain superior quality in production of all food items
  • Work with speed and efficiency to ensure proper and timely output of restaurant menu items
  • Keep updated on recipe changes and ensure proper execution of recipe procedures to maintain a high quality and consistent product
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area throughout shift
  • Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station
  • Break down and clean station thoroughly every day
  • Ensure proper rotation of all products to par
  • Label, day dot, and sign all products
  • Obtain Chef/Manager signature on all products
  • Adherence to company and safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as stock counts, labeling and signage of products to support safe and efficient kitchen operations
