Job Requirements

  • Must have and maintain an active ServSafe Food Handlers Card
  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum 2+ years line cook experience
  • ability to handle physical demands including lifting 10-50 lbs and standing for long periods
  • excellent knife and culinary skills
  • knowledge of safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high urgency kitchen environment
  • authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • culinary degree (preferred but not required)
  • minimum 2+ years line cook experience

Job Duties

  • Responsible for production according to recipes/directions
  • assist with food production
  • cut and clean a variety of fruits, vegetables, and proteins using a knife and/or cutting machines
  • produces food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and catered events
  • follows production sheets, portioning and merchandising details as instructed by the Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef
  • follows all recipes and guidelines while meeting production deadlines
  • ensures consistent quality on all prepared items
  • tastes all food prepared for station to ensure flavor, freshness, and quality
  • maintains a clean and organized station and prep area
  • maintains kitchen equipment
  • follows proper rotation and storage of goods
  • follows safety and sanitation procedures with all guidelines from OSHA, Department of Public Health and Risk Management
  • continuously seeks opportunities to improve the customer experience
  • teamwork and time management
