Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • four plus years of line cook experience preferred
  • willing to go the extra mile to satisfy every need of guests
  • knowledgeable about the menu and products
  • able to clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • able to set up workstation with necessary ingredients and equipment
  • able to cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • able to measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items
  • skillful in safe use of knives and utensils
  • able to operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
  • capable of arranging, garnishing, and portioning food to established guidelines
  • able to properly store food according to safety policies
  • maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude
  • adhere to safety policies including food safety and sanitation
  • perform other duties as assigned by upper management

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum four years of experience cooking in a restaurant
  • understanding of kitchen methods and procedures
  • skillful in knife handling
  • ability to perform tasks with precision, speed, and attention to detail
  • capability to read and follow kitchen instructions
  • organized and self-initiated

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and cook as directed in recipes
  • ensure all ingredients in the workstation are ready on schedule to guarantee smooth delivery
  • organize and clean the workstation following restaurant protocols
  • maintain cleanliness of workstation including kitchen equipment
  • comply with applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards
  • guarantee the quality and freshness of ingredients and products
  • perform additional cleaning tasks assigned by line supervisor, sous-chef, or executive chef
