Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation required
  • Experience in the restaurant industry is a plus
  • Bilingual preferred
  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Prepares or directs preparations of recipes in compliance with portion sizes, quality standards, and company policies
  • Prepares a variety of cold and hot food items using standardized recipes
  • Prepares specially requested food items
  • Plans food production to align with meal serving times ensuring food quality and appearance
  • Utilizes knives, hand tools, utensils, and equipment for prepping and cooking food items
  • Complies with sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and food handling techniques
  • Maintains communication with lead line cook to facilitate efficient customer orders
  • Keeps workstations clean and reports any equipment maintenance needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors
