Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant cooking or food preparation experience preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and food preparation instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare, portion, cook and present a variety of hot and/or cold foods for multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events/catering
  • Read and follow basic recipes and/or product instructions to prepare various foods
  • Prepare foods and attend to a la carte customer orders and/or operate a grill station
  • Attend work and show up for scheduled shift on time with sufficient regularity
  • Perform other assigned duties that may vary between accounts depending on business needs and customer requirements
  • Maintain a clean, healthy and safe working environment
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient operation
