Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a cook in a high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
  • Willingness to follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests
  • Quickly, safely, and efficiently prepare food in accordance with preparation and execution standards
  • Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste and maximize profitability
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area including equipment, countertops, and storage areas to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, receiving supplies, and notifying chef or manager of shortages or discrepancies
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient workflow and communicate effectively to ensure timely preparation and service of meals
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Execute opening and closing procedures
  • Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
