Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook according to recipes
- Ensure ingredients at workstation are ready on time to meet preparation schedules
- Organize and clean workstation following restaurant protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation and kitchen equipment
- Comply with health, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products
- Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisor or chef
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Cook and prepare food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items as required
- Safely use a variety of utensils including knives
- Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
- Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines
- Properly store food adhering to safety policies
- Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude
- Adhere to restaurant safety policies and food safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned by upper management
