Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and cook according to recipes
  • Ensure ingredients at workstation are ready on time to meet preparation schedules
  • Organize and clean workstation following restaurant protocols
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstation and kitchen equipment
  • Comply with health, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products
  • Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisor or chef
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • Cook and prepare food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items as required
  • Safely use a variety of utensils including knives
  • Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
  • Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines
  • Properly store food adhering to safety policies
  • Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude
  • Adhere to restaurant safety policies and food safety protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned by upper management
