The Line Chef role at Bridgeway Community Health offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the culinary operations of this impactful healthcare provider. Situated within a high-volume kitchen environment, the Line Chef works under the guidance of the Culinary Supervisor to prepare and cook menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of culinary experience preferred
  • Experience preparing meals in accordance with nutritional guidelines preferred
  • Experience working in food truck operations preferred
  • Current food handler permit required
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Must be available to work weekends and some holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepares and cooks breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items in accordance with established recipes and food safety standards
  • Assists with the coordination and production of daily meal service
  • Maintains adequate inventory levels and communicates supply needs to leadership
  • Verifies incoming food and supply deliveries for quality, quantity, and accuracy
  • Assists with food preparation for special dietary needs and nutritional guidelines
  • Maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the kitchen and work areas
  • Provides exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and staff
  • Supports food truck operations as needed
  • Maintains compliance with food handling and safety regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned
