The brand's menu includes a range of flavorful and comforting dishes such as bowls, salads, handheld items, rotisserie chicken, and pizzas, all prepared without refined sugars or processed ingredients. We are seeking a Utility/Line Chef to join the dynamic culinary team at Goop Kitchen. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of food preparation that define the brand. The Utility/Line Chef is responsible for preparing various dishes based on established recipes and company-wide quality standards. The role involves cooking a diverse array of items including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and more, utilizing broilers, ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment. Attention to detail is critical in this position as the chef must ensure consistent portion sizes, cooking methods, and presentation to align with the Goop Kitchen brand. Hygiene and sanitation practices are strictly enforced to comply with health and safety regulations protecting both employees and customers. In addition, the Utility/Line Chef must monitor kitchen equipment, reporting any maintenance needs to management promptly to ensure smooth operations. This role demands a professional who is adaptable, precise, and committed to upholding Goop Kitchen's reputation for excellence in clean, delicious food. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in culinary training or experience working as a line cook, prep cook or similar role
- Knowledge of food safety and food handling procedures

Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of dishes ranging from meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items using the restaurant's established recipes
- Prepare dishes by cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, and a variety of kitchen equipment
- Assume responsibility for quality of products served
- Master recipes for all kitchen stations
- Comply consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
- Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
- Handle, store and rotate all products properly
- Always maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- Uphold company safety and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our employees
- Evaluate maintenance of all kitchen equipment and notify management if there is a need for new or replacement equipment
- Adhere to all kitchen safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Perform supplementary tasks as deemed necessary for the role
