Job Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions
- must be able to obtain certificate from NATA line service training program
- must obtain motor vehicle operating permit within 30-60 days
- must obtain airport ID badge within 30 days of employment
- must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
- ability to read and communicate in English
- must meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and ability to work in loud and varying temperature environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ability to read and communicate in English
- two years related experience as a line service technician or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- knowledge of refueling procedures for general and corporate aviation aircraft
- knowledge of towing procedures and techniques
- ability to perform duties independently in the absence of a supervisor
- strong initiative and self-direction
- excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly helpful manner
- commitment to quality and customer service excellence
- adherence to safety standards and regulations
- ability to represent Jet Aviation values of trust honesty alignment and transparency
Job Duties
- Responsible for refueling and defueling all types of aircraft on a daily basis demonstrating knowledge of specific fueling requirements
- provides towing and disconnecting services for all types of aircraft
- executes hand signals to guide aircraft during arrivals and departures
- operates ground support equipment including GPU lavatory carts and other service tools
- communicates with employees and crew using radios to ensure excellent customer service
- assists with supplying ice coffee catering and other necessary services to aircraft
- provides transportation for customers and pilots within the airport using courtesy van or bus
- assists with aircraft and hangar cleaning as needed
- performs general groundskeeping such as grass cutting weeding and housekeeping
- performs other duties as assigned
