Job Requirements

  • Certified in food safety
  • Experience working in a professional kitchen environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
  • Knowledge of nutrition and sanitation regulations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Capable of handling fine dining shifts efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Experienced and diverse palate
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiarity with industry's best practices
  • Certified in food safety
  • Strong multi-tasking ability
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 25 lbs

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report, and follow instructions from the chef or sous chef
  • Clean up station and manage leftover food
  • Prepare a family meal once a week with team members
  • Stock inventory appropriately and maintain records for own station
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Uphold a comprehensive approach to guest care, demonstrating a proactive attitude in ensuring guest satisfaction across all interactions
