Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • Pennsylvania State EMT or Paramedic credential
  • applicable state certification(s)
  • effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • preferred 1+ years of experience as an EMS provider
  • preferred 911 experience
  • effective customer service skills
  • knowledge of special event operations and customer service

Job Duties

  • ensure that event activities align with CrowdRx goals and strategic plan
  • deliver BLS level care according to medical guidelines and protocols
  • respond calmly and professionally to emergency medical assistance calls and public safety issues within assigned areas
  • coordinate and arrange transport for patients requiring higher levels of care
  • communicate effectively with venue and event staff as well as local officials
  • utilize medical equipment and procedures to provide high-quality patient care
  • generate and submit accurate response and patient care documentation
  • maintain uniforms, response gear, and personal protective equipment
  • keep current on NREMT and state certifications
  • monitor and maintain first aid offices and medical equipment supplies
  • comply with all policies, procedures, and required report times
  • maintain regular and prompt attendance
  • communicate public health and safety issues to staff and management
