The position open is for a Lift Maintenance Technician, a critical role responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Deer Valley’s ski lifts. This year-round, full-time role plays an essential part in ensuring the safety and operational efficiency of the resort’s lifts in both winter and summer seasons. The Lift Maintenance Technician carries out daily start-up procedures and periodic inspections, performs essential in-service and after-hours maintenance and repairs, and participates actively in safety and equipment training programs. This role demands a meticulous individual dedicated to maintaining clean workspaces and equipment, completing accurate records and logs, and participating in daily briefings to stay in sync with the team and operational updates.

The technician will have hands-on responsibilities that include routine mechanical inspections, troubleshooting mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic systems, and electrical AC/DC motor systems. The opportunity also involves potential collaboration with other Mountain Operations and Resort departments as assigned. Understanding and implementing safety protocols and regulatory guidelines, such as ANSI B77.1, are fundamental to this position.
