The Lifestyle Host Supervisor role is a full-time, permanent position based at The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa. This energetic and creative supervisory position holds a pivotal role in organizing, delivering, and leading family-oriented entertainment and activity programs in a lively resort environment. The Lifestyle Host Supervisor is responsible for guest engagement, public speaking, and emceeing events, contributing directly to creating memorable guest experiences for individuals of all ages. This role requires a person with a passion for hospitality, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead a diverse range of entertainment activities including pool games, trivia nights, movie screenings, sports challenges, island tours, crafts, and cooking demonstrations.
The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership qualities, creativity, and enthusiasm. Responsibilities extend to the coordination of activity setups, collaboration with multiple departments such as bartenders, concierge, Kids Club, and excursion teams, ensuring smooth execution and high guest satisfaction. The position demands high energy, physical stamina for outdoor activities, and the capability to handle various weather conditions while maintaining a positive guest-facing demeanor. A speaking role on stage and the ability to perform scripted material and routines further emphasize the importance of performance skills.
Candidates should be prepared for a work schedule that includes flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and seasonal peak times, reflecting the dynamic needs of the resort’s family-oriented guest services. Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of proven experience in organizing, leading, and delivering events focused on family entertainment in a resort, cruise, theme park, or similar hospitality environment
- Previous experience arranging and implementing activity programs involving children and groups
- Exceptional interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Demonstrated enthusiasm, creativity, energy, and ability to perform scripted material and choreography
- Strong multitasking and leadership skills
- Basic knowledge of event coordination, safety protocols, and guest service standards
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Fluent in English
- Prior supervisory or lead entertainment experience is advantageous
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons
- Ability to perform an audition as part of the application process

- Basic knowledge of event coordination, safety protocols, and guest service standards
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Fluent in English
- Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role in entertainment or activities is a plus
- Ability to perform an audition to assess performance skills and fit for on-stage roles
Job Duties
- Maintain high levels of guest engagement through frequent interactions using a microphone for announcements and leading on-stage activities
- Serve as the emcee and lead for all adult and family activities including pool games, trivia sessions, movie nights, sports challenges, island tours, crafts, cooking demonstrations and other programmed events
- Learn and perform scripted material, choreography, and routines for various activities with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Organize and deliver family-oriented entertainment events, assist with setup for beach and pool activities, and coordinate with other departments such as bartenders, Beach Ambassadors, pool operators, concierge, Kids Club, and Red Sail Sports/shore excursions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to present varied and engaging activities and provide operational support for excursions, events, or other resort initiatives
- Foster positive interactions, resolve guest inquiries or concerns related to activities, and contribute to making the resort a top destination for families
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support the Lifestyle Team and overall resort operations
