Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 24 years
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • creativity and organizational skills
  • prior experience in recreational program planning preferred
  • proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office and email
  • passion for working with seniors
  • ability to engage with diverse residents
  • willingness to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the local community, area and region
  • passion for serving seniors
  • excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and email
  • at least 24 years of age
  • valid driver's license for safe vehicle operation
  • previous experience in organizing and providing recreational programs, events, and activities preferred
  • experience in roles such as activities director, cruise director, event planner, fitness instructor, volunteer coordinator, art teacher, camp director or theater performer beneficial

Job Duties

  • Design and execute activities and programs that engage, support, and uplift residents
  • lead fitness activities in the community's state-of-the-art fitness center
  • uncover residents' interests, hobbies, talents and accompany them on shopping and outings
  • organize recreational activities, events and fitness programs aligned with residents' interests
  • conduct interviews with new residents to tailor intellectual, social, spiritual, physical, and creative goals
  • foster positive relationships with residents and team members
  • embody core values of respect, kindness, compassion, honesty, and service excellence
