Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 2 years experience in events and administration
- supervisory or lead experience preferred
- valid driver's license
- basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet
- ability to work with office equipment and phone systems
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- ability to maintain composure in challenging situations
- ability to pay attention to detail and solve problems
- ability to escalate issues accordingly
- ability to follow company policies, SOPs and manage multiple tasks

- able to work outdoors in hot and cold temperatures

Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- minimum 2 years of experience in events and administration

Job Duties
- Manages all aspects of event planning, implementation and follow up including establishing an annual calendar of social events, communicating event dates, times, and locations, hiring vendors and volunteers, opening and closing recreational centers for each event, decorating or forming committees to decorate for events and holidays
- Develops and manages event and activity budget, reconciles class, event and rental income
- Manages and oversees community groups and volunteers
- Oversees website maintenance, prepares community newsletters and event fliers as needed
- Assists with facilitating, scheduling and coordinating community programming
- Coordinates, trains, schedules, and manages event staff for community events, rentals, and recreation programs
- Works events and recreation programs including nights, holidays, and weekends as required
- Assists Lifestyle Manager with reports and Board of Directors meetings
- Provides backup support to the Lifestyle Administrator as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
