Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience with residents having dementia preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
- Physical ability to walk, stand, talk, hear, and move freely throughout the facility
- Willingness to comply with equal opportunity employer policies
- Ability to perform duties with tact, sensitivity, and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with residents having dementia
- Experience in therapeutic and behavioral interventions preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to walk, stand, and move throughout the facility
Job Duties
- Provide daily activity programs for residents
- Assist the Director in providing a full range of program services
- Deliver industry-leading resident programming service
- Implement appropriate therapeutic and behavioral interventions for residents with dementia
- Read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
- Move freely throughout the facility to support resident engagement
- Maintain professionalism, tact, and sensitivity in all interactions
