Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Indiana EMT-P Paramedic license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire
- Obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within probation period
- Obtain Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) certification within probation period
- Obtain NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 certifications within probation period
- Ability to make independent clinical and operational decisions in a challenging environment
- Minimum of 1 year ALS Paramedic experience preferred
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide care, transport, and treatment of ill/injured patients in emergency and non-emergency situations
- Relay and receive information regarding patient condition
- Comply with regulatory requirements, departmental and hospital policies
- Operate within scope of Paramedic as defined by state law
- Drive ambulance to and from referral hospitals
- Obtain consents and authorizations from patients or guardians
- Record ambulance run times and process billing and daily reports
