Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in recreation therapy, creative arts, and/or human services related field
- bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum of three years' experience working with older adults
- current or eligible for certification in Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or Activity Director
- dementia engagement certification or willing to obtain within 90 days
- current or eligible for certification in CPR

Job Duties
- Plan and implement programs and events providing residents an Acts Signature Experience
- incorporate wellness, person-centered living, and hospitality into ASE events
- ensure residents of differing cognitive and functional levels have opportunities for meaningful engagement
- develop programs based on Montessori principles of resident empowerment and engagement
- tailor activities to residents' personal histories and preferences
- collaborate with staff to support resident participation
- maintain records and documentation related to activities and resident engagement
