Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in recreation therapy creative arts or human services related field
- Minimum of three years experience working with older adults
- Current or eligible for certification in Therapeutic Recreation Music Therapy Art Therapy or Activity Director
- Dementia engagement certification or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Current or eligible for certification in CPR

Job Duties
- Plan and implement programs and events that provide residents with an Acts Signature Experience
- Incorporate wellness, person-centered living, and hospitality into activities
- Ensure meaningful engagement opportunities for residents of varying cognitive and functional levels
- Design programs based on Montessori principles reflecting residents personal history and preferences
- Collaborate with healthcare and social service teams to enhance resident involvement
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of activities and resident participation
- Promote social, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of residents
