Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • proficiency in software such as Publisher, Excel and Word
  • experience with various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram to aid in enhancing the digital presence of the community
  • six months experience working with seniors in activities or life enrichment preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and coordinating all resident activities including special events following the Life Enrichment programs
  • Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees
  • Lead resident activities per our Community standards
  • Ability to work both evenings and weekends
  • Transport residents to activities, shopping, etc. when needed
  • Create the Monthly Newsletter that goes out to all residents
  • Assist with preparing and distributing weekly activity schedules according to the Community standards
  • Plan and execute diverse and engaging programs to meet the needs of a diverse resident population including newly retired seniors seeking a carefree lifestyle, seniors in need of physical assistance, and seniors in varying stages of memory loss
