The Life Enrichment Coordinator role at Beztak is an inspiring opportunity for individuals who have a passion for serving seniors and improving their quality of life. Reporting directly to the Director of Life Enrichment, the Life Enrichment Coordinator plays a vital role in planning, organizing, and facilitating a wide range of activities tailored to the needs and interests of residents across Independent, Assisted, and Memory Care service levels. Beyond coordinating these events, the Life Enrichment Coordinator provides transportation for residents to social outings, appointments, and special events, ensuring safety and comfort throughout.
This position is crucial in enhancing the physical, social, and mental well-being of each resident by fostering an environment filled with opportunities for engagement and connection. Responsibilities include assisting with digital and print communications such as calendars and announcements, managing resident records, and supporting event set-up and breakdown. The Life Enrichment Coordinator must thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment where problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and adaptability are essential. In addition, the role demands adherence to safety protocols including a clean driving record and the ability to operate company or personal vehicles as required.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record
- At least 1 year of experience in a related field
- Ability to operate company or personal vehicles for work-related purposes
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing as required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs
- Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Flexibility to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to weather conditions

Job Duties
- Promote resident socialization, growth, and development by planning and executing resident activities
- Drive residents in community vehicles to social events, various appointments, and special events
- Work enthusiastically to enhance residents' quality of life by addressing their social, physical, and mental health
- Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with transportation requests, including educational outings
- Format and distribute digital and print calendars
- Facilitate activities aligned with talents and interests
- Manage digital and print communications and announcements
- Set up and reset rooms and events
- Maintain resident profile, life story, and directory record-keeping
- Assist with booking and leading resident-centered activities in Independent, Assisted, and Memory Care service levels
- Handle high-pressure situations, interact effectively with difficult customers and vendors, resolve conflicts, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Operate company or personal vehicles as required for job duties
