Currently, Harbour Village is looking to employ a part-time Life Enrichment Coordinator, a vital role designed to enhance the lives of residents through the thoughtful planning, scheduling, and coordination of diverse activities. This position operates on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8am to 4:30pm, perfect for candidates seeking part-time work. The Life Enrichment Coordinator is charged with fostering an environment that promotes physical activity, mental stimulation, and social interaction tailored to meet the varying needs and interests of the senior community. This role requires a passionate, enthusiastic individual who is dedicated to promoting a vibrant community culture and enhancing the quality of life for seniors through creative programming.
As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will work closely under the guidance of the Director of Life Enrichment to implement comprehensive programs that engage residents at all stages of life, including those newly retired, those requiring physical assistance, and those experiencing memory challenges. Duties include coordinating all resident activities, such as special events and structured programming, following the community's established Life Enrichment programs, including Lifestyles and Health Services, Embrace the World, Ambassador, and the Heartfelt Connections Memory Care Program. Your efforts will help cultivate a nurturing atmosphere by providing meaningful educational opportunities for both residents and staff, particularly in the areas of health, disease prevention, and holistic wellness.
The position demands strong organizational skills to assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly activity calendars in accordance with community standards. Daily leadership of resident activities is also a core component, ensuring engagement opportunities are consistently available and inclusive. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED required
- associate’s degree preferred
- six months experience working with seniors in activities or life enrichment preferred
- proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required as condition of employment

Job Duties
- assist the director of life enrichment with planning scheduling and coordinating all resident activities including special events following the life enrichment programs on a monthly basis
- promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees
- provide individual and group educational opportunities for residents and staff in the area of disease prevention and management
- lead daily resident activities per community standards
- assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to community standards
- plan and execute diverse and engaging programs to meet the needs of diverse resident populations
