The chosen candidate will be responsible for creating a diverse calendar of resident-centered programs that promote cognitive stimulation, social engagement, physical wellness, and emotional support. Core duties include developing monthly activity calendars, organizing outings and special events, and coordinating with residents, families, and our care team to ensure activities are meaningful, accessible, and enjoyable.

This role requires a proactive approach to building relationships with residents to understand their unique interests and needs. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will also design specialized programs for residents with dementia or cognitive impairments, ensuring activities are adapted to promote memory care and sensory engagement in a supportive environment. Volunteer recruitment and management are key aspects, as is establishing partnerships with local community groups and entertainers to enhance programming variety.

In addition to event planning, this position requires meticulous documentation and adherence to state regulations and company policies related to activity programming. The coordinator will actively participate in interdisciplinary meetings to align enrichment activities with residents’ care plans, thereby supporting their individual goals and preferences.
