The Life Enrichment Coordinator position at Touchmark on Saddle Drive is a vital role dedicated to enhancing the physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of residents. This part-time role offers a salary range of $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, dependent on experience, and involves varied shifts including weekends and some holidays. The successful candidate will bring energy, compassion, and creativity to the team, designing and leading activities that promote engagement and dignity for each resident.
As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to understand the unique interests, abilities, and life histories of residents to create programs that nurture their whole person. The role involves planning group and one-on-one activities that inspire joy and connection, facilitating special events, outings, and intergenerational programs that enrich community life. Documentation and recordkeeping are integral to ensuring participation is tracked and care plans are supported effectively.
This position requires someone who can build genuine, trusting relationships with residents and their families, encouraging participation and adapting activities to accommodate individual needs. Working under the guidance of the Life Enrichment Director, you will contribute to a vibrant community atmosphere while supporting a culture of respect and wellness. The role also includes safely assisting residents during outings and operating accessible transportation with provided training.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in social recreational or activities based program preferably in senior living healthcare or dementia care
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills

- Organizational skills and attention to detail for planning and recordkeeping
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents as needed
Job Duties
- Plan organize and lead daily group and one on one programs that support physical cognitive social emotional and spiritual wellness of residents
- Build genuine trusting relationships with residents and families
- Encourage and assist residents to participate in meaningful activities adapting programs to meet individual needs and preferences
- Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director to design activities that align with each resident’s care plan and cognitive abilities
- Coordinate special events outings and intergenerational programs that enhance quality of life
- Maintain attendance records and document participation accurately
- Support community wide programs events and celebrations as part of the broader Life Enrichment team
- Safely assist residents during outings including operation of accessible transportation training provided
