Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- ability to work full time including every fourth weekend and holidays
- maintain accurate resident records
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- experience working with elderly or disabled populations preferred
- ability to follow state and federal regulations
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- post secondary education preferred
- experience in long term care preferred
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate resident activity programs
- develop rapport with residents and families
- maintain records on assigned residents including attendance and assessments
- attend care conferences to determine care plan needs
- electronically document Minimum Data Set and care plans
- provide leadership for activities and events
- make recommendations for program improvements
- promptly answer resident call lights
