The Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant position at Legend Senior Living plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by planning, organizing, and executing engaging and meaningful activities. Responsibilities include developing activity calendars, managing budgets, collaborating with outside organizations, and ensuring smooth event logistics such as setup and cleanup. This position also may involve oversight of specialized life enrichment components, such as Memory Care programs.

In addition to planning and implementation duties, the Life Enrichment Assistant is responsible for coordinating resident transportation to and from external events, which includes operating company vehicles safely in compliance with applicable driving policies. Job Requirements

  • Current, valid driver’s license
  • Must meet company driving requirements
  • Driving record (MVR) meets company insurance requirements
  • Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends
  • Preferred experience working with seniors or in event or lesson planning

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working with seniors preferred
  • Experience in event planning or lesson planning preferred
  • Demonstrated creative skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to follow company policies and safety guidelines

Job Duties

  • Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
  • Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
  • Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component such as Memory Care or a particular activity as assigned
  • Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events including driving company vehicle when needed
  • Communicating effectively with residents and staff
  • Adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
