Job Requirements
- Active U.S. Customs Broker License (LCB)
- minimum 5 years experience in customs brokerage or import entry processing
- prior team lead, supervisor, or managerial experience preferred
- knowledge of HTS, ACE, FDA, EPA, USDA, and CBP protocols
- proficiency in CargoWise, Descartes, or similar platforms
- strong communication and documentation skills
- experience with multiple commodities and trade lanes preferred

Job Duties
- Manage the end-to-end customs clearance process for import shipments (air/ocean)
- oversee entry filings, including 7501, 3461, ISF, and PGA documentation
- lead a team of entry writers and clerks, providing compliance training and performance coaching
- classify goods accurately using HTS codes and ensure regulatory alignment with CBP and OGA requirements (FDA, USDA, EPA, etc.)
- coordinate with internal ops, account managers, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely release and delivery
- monitor customs regulations and proactively implement changes to ensure compliance
- respond to audits, CBP holds, and post-summary corrections
