Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- represent the company as a licensed professional
- ensure responsible supervision over the branch’s brokerage operations
- train other departmental staff on brokerage related issues
- manage staff import/entry writer/operations handling customs clearance
- work with U.S. Customs and other government agencies
- process customs entries, ISF, ACH statements, post summary corrections
- validate and maintain customs powers of attorney
- respond to customer inquiries on customs and government agency requirements
- prepare monthly statistical and management reports
- notify management of customer complaints or entry discrepancies
- assure all brokerage files are accurate and reconciled
- maintain communication with customers, carriers, customs, and CFS representatives
- coordinate and resolve shipment issues with local and overseas offices
