Currently, RealmOne is seeking Liaison Support Officers at multiple levels to join their intelligence program supporting a key government sponsor in Northern Virginia. This role is a critical part of maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of important government missions both domestically and abroad. Candidates for these positions must hold an active security clearance with an appropriate polygraph and will be placed within levels 2 to 5 based on experience and performance during multiple assessments.
Liaison Support Officers provide comprehensive support for all aspects of liaison visits. Responsibilities include logistical planning and coordination, submission of access requests, and acting as a primary point of contact for senior management regarding liaison-related inquiries. Officers are expected to be knowledgeable about cultural sensitivities and preferences, eventually serving as subject matter experts for the countries in their portfolio.
Additional duties involve coordinating meetings, managing calendars, maintaining records, and providing expert concierge services by curating events and experiences in the Washington, D.C. area. The role demands strong event planning skills, creativity in problem-solving, and the ability to manage unforeseen challenges effectively. A key component is developing and continuously updating standardized procedures and templates to enhance liaison engagement efficiency.

Job Requirements
- Possession of an active security clearance with polygraph
- Relevant experience ranging from three (3) to twenty (20) years depending on level
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate logistics effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Cultural sensitivity and knowledge of country portfolios
- Event planning experience preferred
- Willingness to comply with sponsor office guidelines and ad-hoc requirements during events
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active security clearance with polygraph
- Three (3) years relevant experience for Level 2
- Seven (7) years relevant experience for Level 3
- Twelve (12) years relevant experience for Level 4
- Twenty (20) years relevant experience for Level 5
- Prior event planning experience preferred
- Five (5) years additional relevant experience may substitute for a college degree
Job Duties
- Provide support to all aspects of liaison visits including logistical planning and coordination
- Follow sponsor office’s guidance and direction related to planning and coordinating visits or events
- Submit requests for building access, catering, transportation, museum tours, photos, gifts, lodging, and special events
- Act as a point of contact for sponsor office senior management regarding liaison visit questions
- Be knowledgeable of cultural sensitivities and preferences for the country portfolio and become a subject matter expert
- Coordinate meetings including scheduling and reserving conference rooms
- Populate data within liaison-tracking databases, maintain calendars, and historical records
- Provide expert concierge service with event-planning experience and knowledge of local dining and entertainment
- Support development and updates of standardized procedures and templates for liaison engagements
- Anticipate needs of the sponsor office based on liaison guest preferences
- Respond to and handle immediate event crises with positive results
- Manage all aspects of event planning from start to finish
- Propose and provide creative solutions to issues or impediments
- Comply with ad-hoc requirements issued during liaison events
