Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Flexibility to work long hours
  • Must attend required trainings and meetings
  • Must maintain high personal grooming standards
  • Knowledge of state liquor laws
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and employees
  • Set up the bar according to hotel standards and ensure prompt and efficient service
  • Prepare beverages and cocktails according to hotel mixing and presentation standards
  • Serve guests with all beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
  • Break down the bar after functions, storing liquor, supplies, and equipment properly
  • Follow all state liquor laws
  • Know hotel services and facilities
  • Abide by hotel policies and safety rules
  • Serve liquor responsibly to avoid problems with intoxicated guests
  • Respond properly to guests’ problems, complaints, and accidents
  • Be familiar with all fire exit and extinguisher locations and operation
  • Ensure cleanliness of bar and service areas during service
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
