Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or relevant hospitality experience
- Ability to operate POS systems and reconcile cash till
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes
- Ability to provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Understanding of Washington Liquor Control Commission standards
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Willingness to attend training meetings
- Good attendance record
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or relevant hospitality experience
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of alcohol service laws and regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- Internal Controls and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures
- Provides attentive and friendly service to customers
- Takes orders from customers
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor soda water sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Serves wine and draught or bottled beer
- Collects money for drinks served and food served
- Operates balances and reconciles cash till and Point of Sale (POS)
- Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies
- Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display
- Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks according to cut and par specifications
- Prepares drinks ordered by wait staff in a timely manner
- Prepares beverages according to designated recipes
- Passes occasional quizzing of recipe knowledge
- Educates guests and team members about libations offered with appropriate garnishment
- Monitors consumption of alcohol by guests
- Upholds standards set by Washington Liquor Control Commission
- Attends all training meetings
- Maintains a good attendance record
- May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings
- Performs other duties as assigned
