This innovative approach not only enhances mobility but also saves precious time for consumers by allowing them to simply drive in and drive out without hassle.\n\nIn partnership with our Legacy Hospital client, we seek a full-time Valet Attendant to serve the Good Samaritan and Emanuel campuses. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service through professionalism, attentiveness, and safe driving to ensure a premium experience for visitors. Valets play a pivotal role in representing SP Plus and our client by providing friendly and efficient vehicle parking services. The position offers an $18.00 per hour wage with tips, and shift schedules starting between 6:00 AM and 9:30 AM, with the latest out time being 10:00 PM. This location offers free employee parking as a benefit.\n\nAs a Valet Attendant, you will be expected to maintain a positive and energetic "can-do" attitude, work with minimal supervision, and adapt to dynamic situations during shifts. Excellent communication skills and a background in customer service are essential, with previous parking experience highly desirable. You will be responsible for safely parking vehicles, inspecting each vehicle thoroughly, and effectively communicating valet rates and services to customers. Compliance with traffic laws and internal policies is mandatory, and you must report any accidents or unusual events immediately to management. Familiarity with the local area streets, landmarks, and routes will be crucial to supporting customers' transportation needs.\n\nYour professionalism is reflected in your appearance and punctuality, as you will be required to arrive on time dressed in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout the entire shift. Additionally, you will assist management with any other duties as assigned, ensuring the smooth operation of the valet service. Physical requirements involve standing, walking, handling cash and equipment, occasional sitting, balancing, and lifting or moving up to 25 pounds as necessary.
