Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays
  • willingness to supervise and follow instructions
  • good public relations skills
  • ability to use computers
  • certified in CPR/First Aid
  • knowledge of cardio and weight room equipment
  • knowledge of Legacy Center programs and events
  • high school diploma or equivalent experience

Job Duties

  • Oversee all front desk activities and staff
  • coordinate hiring, disciplinary action, and staffing with fellow Front Desk Head Manager
  • participate in bi-monthly meetings, trainings, and evaluations
  • maintain personnel files and timekeeping records
  • supervise desk managers and desk staff
  • manage and verify training plans for front desk staff including new hires, EAP, policies and procedures, CPR/First Aid, and equipment orientation
  • update policies, procedures, and Employee Handbook annually
  • organize inventory and order necessary supplies
  • maintain productive shifts in a positive environment
  • assist in planning and conducting special tasks, trainings, and team-building activities
  • take meeting notes and communicate to staff and department heads
  • handle patron concerns and assist with health, fitness, and recreational needs
  • assist with scheduling and hiring as needed
