As a Cook at Leeann Chin, you will play an essential role in bringing the restaurant's signature dishes to life. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Previous cooking or food service experience is a plus but not required
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive collaborative attitude
  • Ability to stand and walk continually throughout your shift and perform duties requiring bending stooping and reaching
  • Comfortable preparing meats seafood and vegetables and maintaining cold table supplies
  • Ability to perform all cleaning functions including sanitizing equipment tools utensils and work surfaces
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work various scheduled shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Previous cooking or food service experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Skillfully prepare a variety of menu items including stir-frying entrees and preparing appetizers according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Efficiently prep and portion ingredients ensuring your station is consistently stocked
  • Take pride in the quality of all products served ensuring they meet high standards
  • Become proficient in standard batch sizes cooking methods and adhere to all kitchen rules policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area including food preparation and storage spaces as well as equipment and utensils including proper opening and closing procedures for kitchen stations
  • Work effectively with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service especially during peak hours
