Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university with a minimum of 6 credit hours
- completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled accredited college or university
- maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average
- must be a current or future leaseholder of community
- must live on designated community floor per community guidelines
- able to lift up to 40 lbs
- valid driver’s license
- available to work approximately 20 hours per week
- available evenings and weekends
- ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal's Core Values every day
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure that Cardinal customers are satisfied
- perform administrative front desk tasks and duties
- participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training as required
- warmly greet prospective clients
- answer incoming leasing calls
- determine needs and preferences
- professionally present the community and apartment homes
- utilize feature/benefit selling
- close the sale
- follow up with prospective residents
- complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork
- pass third party leasing shops and become Cardinal Way of Leasing certified
- maintain accurate lease file documentation in accordance with company policy
- participate in lease file audits as assigned by the Community Manager
- be an expert on current market conditions and trends by shopping competition and attending Cardinal trainings
- maintain cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression of the community
- demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors
- participate in and assist with planning community events
- assist with various additional community projects as assigned by the Community Manager
- participate in Cardinal U training as required
- fulfill "on-call" responsibilities such as lock-outs and nightly rounds
- work evenings and weekends as required
