Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university with minimum 6 credit hours
- Completed minimum one year at accredited college or university
- Maintain minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Must be current or future leaseholder of community
- Live on designated community floor per guidelines
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Valid driver's license
- Available to work approximately 20 hours per week
- Available evenings and weekends
- Ability to embody Cardinal Culture and Core Values
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university with minimum 6 credit hours
- Must have completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled college or university
- Must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average
- Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community
- Must live on designated community floor as assigned
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Available to be scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week
- Available evenings and weekends
- Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Core Values every day
Job Duties
- Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure that Cardinal customers are satisfied
- Administrative front desk tasks and duties
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training as required
- Warmly greet prospective clients
- Answer incoming leasing calls
- Determine needs and preferences
- Professionally present the community and apartment homes
- Utilize feature/benefit selling
- Close the sale
- Follow up
- Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork
- Pass third party leasing shops and become Cardinal Way of Leasing certified
- Maintain accurate lease file documentation
- Participate in lease file audits as assigned
- Be an expert on current market conditions and trends
- Maintain cleanliness of the tour path
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospects, and vendors
- Assist with planning community events
- Assist with additional community projects as assigned
- Participate in Cardinal U training as required
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities including lock-outs and nightly rounds
- Work evenings and weekends as scheduled
