Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university with minimum 6 credit hours
  • Completed minimum one year at accredited college or university
  • Maintain minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Must be current or future leaseholder of community
  • Live on designated community floor per guidelines
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Valid driver's license
  • Available to work approximately 20 hours per week
  • Available evenings and weekends
  • Ability to embody Cardinal Culture and Core Values

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university with minimum 6 credit hours
  • Must have completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled college or university
  • Must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average
  • Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community
  • Must live on designated community floor as assigned
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Available to be scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week
  • Available evenings and weekends
  • Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Core Values every day

Job Duties

  • Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure that Cardinal customers are satisfied
  • Administrative front desk tasks and duties
  • Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training as required
  • Warmly greet prospective clients
  • Answer incoming leasing calls
  • Determine needs and preferences
  • Professionally present the community and apartment homes
  • Utilize feature/benefit selling
  • Close the sale
  • Follow up
  • Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork
  • Pass third party leasing shops and become Cardinal Way of Leasing certified
  • Maintain accurate lease file documentation
  • Participate in lease file audits as assigned
  • Be an expert on current market conditions and trends
  • Maintain cleanliness of the tour path
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospects, and vendors
  • Assist with planning community events
  • Assist with additional community projects as assigned
  • Participate in Cardinal U training as required
  • Fulfill on-call responsibilities including lock-outs and nightly rounds
  • Work evenings and weekends as scheduled
