Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university program with at least 6 credit hours
- Completion of at least one year of college
- Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Must be or intend to become a leaseholder of the community
- Residence on designated community floor as per management guidelines
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Valid driver’s license
- Availability for approximately 20 hours weekly
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
- Commitment to embody company culture and core values
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university with a minimum of 6 credit hours
- Must have completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled accredited college or university
- Must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average
- GPA will be verified annually
- Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community
- Must live on designated community floor as assigned by the Community Manager
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Available to be scheduled for work approximately 20 hours per week
- Available evenings and weekends
- Ability to embody the Cardinal culture and Core Values daily
Job Duties
- Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure that Cardinal customers are satisfied
- Administrative front desk tasks and duties
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training as required
- Warmly greet prospective clients
- Answer incoming leasing calls
- Determine needs and preferences
- Professionally present the community and apartment homes
- Utilize feature/benefit selling
- Close the sale
- Follow up
- Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork
- Pass third party leasing shops and become Cardinal Way of Leasing certified
- Maintain accurate lease file documentation in accordance with company policy
- Participate in lease file audits as assigned by the Community Manager
- Be an expert on current market conditions and trends by shopping competition and attending Cardinal trainings
- Maintain cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression of the community
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors
- Participate in and assist with planning community events
- Assist with various additional community projects as assigned by the Community Manager
- Participate in Cardinal U training as required
- Perform 'on-call' responsibilities such as lock-outs and nightly rounds
- Work evenings and weekends
