Job Description
This position is offered by a community-focused property management company dedicated to maintaining vibrant and welcoming living environments. The company emphasizes excellent resident relations, efficient property operations, and active marketing to ensure high occupancy rates and resident satisfaction. Renowned for its commitment to quality service and a dynamic work culture, the organization seeks motivated individuals who wish to grow within the property management industry. The company values teamwork, professionalism, and cultivating a positive living experience for its residents, making it a leading choice for professionals looking to advance their careers in leasing and property marketing.
The Leasing & Marketing Team Leader role is a full-time, non-exempt position designed for individuals who are passionate about connecting people with their ideal homes and enhancing community engagement. As a pivotal member of the property management team, this role supports the Community Manager by focusing specifically on leasing activities, marketing initiatives, and fostering strong resident relationships. The primary goal is to achieve 100% occupancy through both retaining current residents and attracting new ones by leasing current and future available units. The position offers an hourly wage, complemented by benefits and bonus eligibility, making it financially rewarding for those who excel in the role.
In this capacity, the Leasing & Marketing Team Leader will handle various responsibilities that ensure properties are presented in the best light and prospective residents feel valued and understood throughout their leasing journey. The role requires warm and professional interaction with potential clients, guiding them through property tours, qualifying their needs, and effectively communicating the unique features and benefits of the community. Follow-up and application processing are also key aspects, ensuring a seamless leasing experience.
Beyond leasing, the Team Leader supports marketing strategies to promote the community and participates in daily property operations, including concierge-like assistance to residents. The role demands excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate client records, update vacancy and activity reports, and ensure that the property maintains excellent curb appeal. The individual must be adaptable, high-energy, and ready to engage in a fast-paced environment, often involving evening and weekend hours. This position also contributes to the company culture by embodying core values and participating in ongoing training programs to enhance personal and team capabilities.
Overall, this role provides an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in leasing, real estate, or customer service to deepen their expertise in property management. It is ideal for those who are personable, service-oriented, and capable of maintaining a high standard of operational excellence while driving occupancy and resident satisfaction. The environment offers a blend of indoor and outdoor work settings, requiring physical stamina and a readiness to engage with the community and property in various weather conditions. This leadership position not only supports business objectives but also fosters a welcoming atmosphere that encourages residents to call the community home.
