Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence
- license valid for at least 3 years
- if driving a 15 passenger van, must be at least 25 years old
- acceptable driving record as determined by agency insurance and company policies
- ability to stand or walk for long periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- ability to comply with uniform and hygiene standards
- North Carolina REAL ID required
- pass CPR/First Aid, OSHA, and iWATCH training
- meet all building and security requirements
- ability to work Monday to Friday from 5:30 pm to 1:30 am
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- six months of custodial experience preferred
- custodial training desired
- van driving experience preferred
- ability to lead and direct others
- ability to follow directions and maintain focus
- strong communication skills
- commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA standards
Job Duties
- Comply with all agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications
- perform daily cleaning functions while leading team in day-to-day activities
- transport team members, supplies, and equipment to assigned buildings
- train newly hired custodians on cleaning procedures and quality standards
- report and assign rework to ensure contract compliance
- clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchenettes, fitness centers, and childcare centers
- maintain floors and other surfaces including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and cleaning carpets
