Job Description

Leigh & Co. Events is a dynamic wedding planning company operating across the United States, specializing in creating unforgettable and seamless wedding experiences for couples. With years of experience in the wedding industry, the company prides itself on offering meticulous planning, personalized service, and flawless execution. Dedicated to turning dreams into reality, Leigh & Co. Events collaborates closely with clients to ensure every wedding detail reflects their unique style and vision. As a company committed to excellence, Leigh & Co. Events serves a diverse clientele, from intimate gatherings to large celebrations, providing tailor-made solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.

Leigh & Co. Events is currently hiring for the role of Lead Wedding Coordinator for the 2026 wedding season and beyond. This contract position offers a flexible schedule, ideal for those passionate about wedding planning and looking for an opportunity to contribute to memorable events without a traditional full-time commitment. The compensation is set at $350 per project, which typically involves 10 to 12 hours of work, allowing for a rewarding and manageable workload. Comprehensive training is provided to ensure that each coordinator is well-prepared to deliver outstanding service.

As a Lead Wedding Coordinator, you will play a critical role in executing the couple’s vision by managing the wedding day operations on-site. Your responsibilities include coordinating with client experience managers and assistant coordinators to oversee all logistical details and vendor activities. You will conduct the final client call roughly six weeks before the wedding to confirm timelines and address any last-minute changes, ensuring clarity and readiness.

Part of your role will be to lead the rehearsal the day before the wedding, guiding participants to feel prepared and confident about the ceremony flow. On the wedding day, you act as the couple’s primary advocate, managing all setup, vendor coordination, and guest services with calm professionalism. You will direct vendors in alignment with the event plan, assist in the arrangement of personal and decorative details, and provide support and timing cues to the wedding party and family members.

Your proactive management throughout the day—from vendor arrivals through the final breakdown—will ensure the event proceeds smoothly. You will be responsible for packing and accounting for all personal items, such as gifts and guest books, and managing any unforeseen situations to maintain a joyful atmosphere. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay composed under pressure. Availability on weekends and reliable transportation are essential, as well as the physical capability to handle equipment and decorations.

Joining Leigh & Co. Events as a Lead Wedding Coordinator offers not only a chance to work with a premier wedding planning company but also to develop valuable skills that can advance your career in the event planning industry. You will engage in meaningful work helping couples celebrate one of the most important days of their lives, supported by a company that values professionalism, creativity, and teamwork. If you are enthusiastic, organized, and passionate about delivering excellence in wedding coordination, this role presents an exciting opportunity to grow with Leigh & Co. Events.
