Job Description

Leigh & Co. Events is a dynamic and innovative wedding planning company operating across the United States, specializing in providing comprehensive wedding design, coordination, and planning services for engaged couples. Our company is dedicated to transforming our clients' wedding dreams into breathtaking realities by managing every intricate detail with professionalism and creativity. With a reputation for excellence and a passion for making every celebration unique, Leigh & Co. Events takes pride in crafting unforgettable wedding experiences that are stress-free and seamless for our clients. We operate within a vibrant and fast-paced industry, where attention to detail and exceptional service are paramount to success. As a forward-thinking company, we value flexibility, creativity, and commitment to client satisfaction, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

The Lead Wedding Planner position at Leigh & Co. Events presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about wedding planning and remarkable event execution. This role is a contract position offering the flexibility to set your own schedule, perfect for those seeking work-life balance while engaging in meaningful and rewarding work. Compensation for this role is $350 per project, which typically involves 10 to 12 hours of work. Training will be provided to help you become familiar with our standards, processes, and exceptional service delivery. We are currently inviting talented wedding planners to join us for the 2026 wedding season and beyond.

As a Lead Wedding Planner, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of the wedding day, primarily on-site, ensuring that every detail aligns with the couple's vision and our execution plan. Your responsibilities will include conducting final detail calls with clients approximately six weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timelines, and expectations. You will lead the ceremony rehearsal and guide all participants through timing, procession, and important cues to ensure a smooth event flow. On the wedding day, you will be the couple's primary advocate, maintaining a calm and solutions-oriented presence to address any challenges that may arise.

Furthermore, you will oversee the setup of the ceremony and reception areas, manage vendor arrivals, coordinate placement of personal and event details, and support the wedding party and family throughout the day. Your organizational skills and keen attention to detail will be essential for managing the entire wedding day from start to finish, ensuring a flawless and memorable experience for everyone involved. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with client experience managers and assistant coordinators, and the capability to handle variable and sometimes high-pressure situations gracefully. If you are enthusiastic about weddings and thrive in dynamic environments, this lead planner role at Leigh & Co. Events is the perfect opportunity to showcase your talents and make a lasting impact in the wedding planning industry.
