This contractor role offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing planners to create their own hours while contributing meaningfully to couples' special days. Training is provided to ensure every planner is well-prepared and aligned with the company’s standards and practices. The compensation for this role is $300 per project based on a commitment of 10-12 hours, reflecting the specialized and dedicated nature of the services provided.\n\nThe Lead Wedding Planner plays a crucial role in orchestrating the flow of the wedding day, primarily providing onsite coordination and support. Working in close collaboration with client experience managers, the planner oversees every detail from rehearsals to the final guest departure. Duties encompass managing assistant coordinators, leading the ceremony rehearsal, ensuring all vendors are aligned and on schedule, and serving as the main liaison for the couple throughout the event. This role demands a calm, solution-oriented approach to handle any challenges that may arise, ensuring a stress-free and joyful experience for the couple and their guests. From executing detailed setups to managing timing and logistics, the Lead Wedding Planner's expertise is key to delivering a flawless wedding celebration. Job Duties

  • participating in a final details call with clients about six weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timelines, and expectations
  • leading the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding, ensuring all participants are prepared and confident in their roles
  • acting as the primary advocate for the couple on their big day, maintaining a calm and solutions-focused approach to any challenges that arise
  • overseeing the ceremony and reception setup according to the event's design and day-of execution playbook
  • managing the full wedding day execution from vendor arrival through the final breakdown at the end of the evening
  • greeting, directing, and serving as the main point of contact for all vendors involved
  • clearly communicating setup instructions to vendors to ensure alignment with the event plan
  • coordinating and assisting with the placement of personal and event details, including escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and decor elements
  • supporting the wedding party and family members with guidance and timing cues throughout the day
  • ensuring that all end-of-event items such as gifts, guest books, and personal decor are properly packed and accounted for after the event
  • proactively managing and resolving any issues or last-minute changes to deliver a smooth guest experience
