Job Description

Leigh & Co. Events is a pioneering wedding planning company that is steadily expanding its presence across the United States. Known for a fresh and innovative approach to creating memorable wedding experiences, the company combines creativity, meticulous planning, and excellent customer service to deliver magical moments to couples on their special day. As a recognized leader in the wedding planning industry, Leigh & Co. Events prides itself on customizing every detail to the unique vision of each couple, ensuring a flawless and unforgettable celebration.

The company is currently seeking talented and passionate Lead Wedding Planners to join their dynamic team. This role represents an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about crafting unforgettable wedding experiences and want to be part of a company that is revolutionizing the wedding planning landscape. The position is structured as a contract role, offering flexibility and the ability to set your own schedule, ideal for professionals seeking autonomy in their work life. Compensation is competitive, with a pay range of $275 to $300 for approximately 10-12 hours of work per project, reflecting the high level of expertise and dedication required to succeed.

As a Lead Wedding Planner at Leigh & Co. Events, you will serve as the primary onsite planner, providing hands-on, personalized wedding coordination and support. You will work closely with client experience managers and assistant coordinators to ensure that every detail aligns perfectly with the couple's expectations and event design. A major component of the job involves participating in a final details call around six weeks prior to each wedding to thoroughly review logistics, timelines, and expectations.

Your responsibilities will also include leading the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding, guaranteeing that everyone involved is informed and confident in their roles. On the wedding day itself, you will be the couple's main advocate, maintaining a calm and solution-focused attitude while navigating and resolving any challenges discreetly and efficiently.

From overseeing the setup of the ceremony and reception areas to managing vendor arrivals and serving as the focal point of communication for all event suppliers, your leadership and attention to detail will ensure the smooth execution of the entire event. You will coordinate the placement of all personal and event-related items such as escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and decor elements to align flawlessly with the planned design.

Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to the wedding party and family, helping with timing cues and day-of needs to keep the event running seamlessly. At the conclusion of the celebration, you will ensure that all gifts, personal items, and decor are packed and accounted for, safeguarding the couple’s possessions.

This role demands proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to manage last-minute changes effectively, guaranteeing an exceptional guest experience and a stress-free day for the couple and their families. Leigh & Co. Events is looking for dedicated professionals to join their team for the 2026 wedding season and beyond, providing comprehensive training to support each planner’s success and growth within the company.
