Job Requirements

  • weekend availability is essential
  • minimum of 2 years of experience as a wedding planner or event planner
  • strong communication skills and detail-oriented approach are necessary
  • reliable transportation is a must
  • must be able to carry and lift up to 30 lbs

Job Duties

  • conduct a final details call with clients approximately 6 weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timeline, and expectations
  • lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding, ensuring all participants are confident in timings and processes
  • act as the primary advocate for the couple onsite, maintaining a calm and solutions-focused demeanor while addressing any challenges
  • oversee the setup of the ceremony and reception in accordance with the event design and day-of execution playbook
  • manage the day-of execution from initial vendor arrivals to final breakdown after the event
  • welcome, direct, and serve as the main contact point for all vendors
  • clearly communicate setup instructions to vendors to ensure alignment with the event plan
  • coordinate the placement of personal and event details, including escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and decor elements
  • support the wedding party and family members with guidance and timing cues for day-of requirements
  • ensure all end-of-event items are properly packed and accounted for
  • proactively manage and resolve any issues or last-minute changes to guarantee a smooth guest experience
