Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior food service experience required, preferably in a lead position
- Experience waiting tables preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service
- Ability to follow safety and food service department policies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Supervise other wait staff and food service workers to ensure that all jobs are done in a timely manner
- Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies
- Work with nursing and other dining staff to serve residents
- Ensure all food service department policies and safety rules are followed
- Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays
- Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths when needed
- Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties in establishments, such as cafeterias or dining rooms, to facilitate customer service
- Serve food to customers when waiters or waitresses need assistance
