The role of Valet Supervisor at Boyd Gaming is a vital position within the organization that oversees the efficient daily operations of vehicle parking services managed by valet attendants. This supervisory role includes managing employee schedules, ensuring adherence to company policies, and maintaining a smooth, customer-focused parking process. The Valet Supervisor is responsible for training new hires and ensuring that all valet team members deliver excellent service to guests. The supervisor also handles the verification and distribution of vehicle claim tickets, inspects vehicles for any damages before and after parking, and keeps the valet area organized and free of unauthorized vehicles. Additionally, this role involves preparing weekly work schedules, tracking employee attendance, and addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively. Job Requirements
- Must have at least three (3) years of valet experience
- must maintain clean driving record and valid state driver license
- must be able to drive automatic and manual transmission
- must be able to stand, walk, and run for short bursts during shift
- must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations

Job Duties
- Oversees daily parking of vehicles by attendants
- break scheduling
- vehicle pickups/retrievals
- new hire training
- ensures department adherence to company and departmental policies and procedures
- accurately assign and verify vehicle claim tickets upon arrival and retrieval
- keep driveway clear of any vehicle that do not require valet assistance
- clean areas around booth and valet area
- inspect vehicle and report damages that exist prior to or after parking
- distribute vehicle claim tickets and oversee key storage area/booth
- prepare weekly work schedules and maintain employee time and attendance
- respond to and resolve guest concerns and complaints
- hire, supervise, train, evaluate job performance, and administer discipline for team members
- other duties as assigned by management such as assisting bellpersons with luggage and arrival
