United Valet Service is currently seeking an experienced Lead Valet to manage and oversee the daily valet operations at an upscale restaurant located in Houston, Texas. This role is integral to the restaurant’s commitment to providing a superior guest experience by maintaining efficient and smooth valet service. The Lead Valet will act as the on-site leader and point of accountability, responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the valet operation runs flawlessly. This includes directing the valet team, managing traffic flow, and maintaining service excellence at all times.

The successful candidate will actively participate in parking and retrieving vehicles while simultaneously managing the overall flow of vehicles and guests. This role demands strong leadership skills, the ability to remain composed under pressure, and a dedication to delivering consistently excellent customer service. Additionally, the Lead Valet will serve as a trainer and mentor to new team members, instilling proper procedures, safety guidelines, and hospitality standards.
As the face of valet operations, the Lead Valet sets the tone for customer interaction and ensures that every guest receives a warm, professional greeting with a sense of urgency and attentiveness. The Lead Valet must manage the valet stand and surrounding areas to maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance. Moreover, the role requires excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with restaurant management and United Valet Service leadership to address any operational concerns or service issues promptly.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of valet experience, including prior leadership or supervisory exposure. They must be proficient in driving a variety of vehicles, including those with automatic and manual transmissions, and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. This role requires physical stamina to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, aligning with the restaurant’s schedule.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

- Monitor team performance, including appearance, phone usage, and service standards
- Ensure proper key control, ticket handling, and vehicle tracking at all times
- Address guest concerns or service issues on the spot and escalate when necessary
- Train new valet drivers on procedures, safety, and hospitality expectations
