The position of Lead Valet at ABM is a crucial role responsible for overseeing valet operations to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. The Lead Valet coordinates daily operations by delegating assignments, providing guidance, and maintaining open communication between field employees and management. This role functions as the onsite supervisor in the absence of the Manager, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. A Lead Valet manages the flow of traffic, communicates clearly with guests, monitors vehicle parking, and performs various administrative tasks such as completing time records and reconciling daily revenue. The Lead Valet also leads training efforts for new hires and addresses operational issues including maintenance needs and service requests.

Working as a Lead Valet requires strong leadership skills, customer service expertise, and the ability to work under varying weather conditions. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, along with supervisory and customer service experience. They must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, be capable of operating both standard and automatic transmission vehicles, and pass a background check and motor vehicle record screening.

Job Duties

  • follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed
  • provide leadership and direction to team members
  • maintain open communication between field employees and management
  • assist with making daily and weekly work schedules
  • oversee and perform operations in assigned area
  • take care of keys and access cards for the property
  • report damaged, broken and out of work features/items
  • oversee and perform additional service requests in assigned area
